Both parties were neighbours in Hortons Yard Worcester Street and quarrelled over something complaintant had said about defendant's children. Complaintant stated that defendant got hold of her by the throat, hit her and tried to drag her down to the brook. Fined 2/6 plus 11/- costs.”1848.
