“A Private in the Royal Marines, as stated on the Baptism record for Gladys Ethel, page 103 of the Parish Records for All Saints. This was in October 1902, 4.5 months after the marriage to Sarah. At this time they lived at 2 Bromsgrove Road Sidemoor. He was shown as being 27, a soldier and a bachelor, and Sarah a widow aged 26. In Feb 1912, at the Christening of Frederick William, they lived at 30 Bewell Head.”1283.
